Accessibility
We want every patient to be able to use this site, whatever technology they browse with.
Our approach
This site is built to target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. In practice that means:
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Content is structured with real headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can navigate it.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives.
- Text meets contrast requirements against its background.
- The layout reflows to a single column and remains usable when zoomed.
- Motion is reduced automatically if your system asks for that.
Where we know we fall short
Accessibility is ongoing rather than finished. Embedded third-party content, such as maps and online booking, is outside our direct control and may not meet the same standard. If you hit a barrier there, please call us and we will complete the task with you over the phone.
Telling us about a problem
If any part of this site prevents you from finding information or booking care, we want to hear about it. Call (713) 666-0287 or use our contact form. Please tell us the page and what happened, and we will respond and offer the information another way.
